“Flowering Fields” is the name of this Sale-a-Bration stamp set. I just LOVE this stamp set. Can’t wait to create more cards with this set, my mind is racing! How about a pretty birthday card?
I’ve seen cards with fences on them using other flower sets, so I decided to make one using this fabulous set. It didn’t turn out like I had pictured in my mind, but how many cards do? Haha! I thought I would have more fence rails on the card, but I wanted to use our fringe scissors to create grass. We’ll have to imagine the rest of the fence is partly hidden by the tall grass.
The fence is stamped using the Hardwood background stamp and popped up using dimensionals. It is also sponged with Soft Suede ink. The red flower is popped up in a much different way.
Flower Tip: On scrap white card stock, stamp the bloom of the flower twice. Fussy cut the entire bloom of the first stamped image (bud and petals), then fussy cut just the bud of the second image. Pop a dimensional under each layer and it will look like a real flower. Club members made this card this month! If you need to place an order, please click here to go to my Stampin’ Up! store.
